Comprehensive, Certified Training for Individuals and Organizations in North Alabama

At Guardian Hands Training, every course is led by certified professionals with 15 years of first responder experience, including American Red Cross instructor Freda Calloway. All classes are taught by LTP/BLS-trained providers and designed to meet the latest OSHA, CDC, and workplace requirements. Classes are available in online, classroom, or blended (online + hands-on) formats, accommodating even the busiest schedules. We bring classes to your workplace or home, and all students receive a digital certificate (wallet-size with QR code) upon completion.

Adult CPR/AED

This course equips students with the knowledge necessary to recognize and care for a variety of breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults.

Format: Online only (does not meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification)
Certification: To receive a valid 2-year certification, you must enroll in an instructor-led skill session within 90 days of completing the online course (additional cost). For immediate certification, we recommend enrolling in instructor-led or blended training.

Adult First Aid/CPR/AED – Blended

This blended course prepares you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults.

Format: Online portion + instructor-led classroom skill session
OSHA Compliant: Meets OSHA workplace requirements
Requirements: Complete online portion (2 hours) before attending in-person skills session (1 hour, PC/tablet needed)
Certification: Digital certificate valid for 2 years

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED – Blended

This comprehensive blended course covers first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants.

Format: Online portion + instructor-led classroom skill session
OSHA Compliant: Meets OSHA workplace requirements
Requirements: Complete online portion (2 hours) before in-person skills session (1 hour, PC/tablet needed)
Certification: Digital certificate valid for 2 years

Skills Sessions

After completing the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED, Adult CPR/AED, or Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED online course, you have 90 days to schedule your hands-on skills session.

First Aid (Online Only)

This course covers a variety of first aid emergencies such as choking, bleeding, overdose, and shock.

Format: Online only (no skills session)

Adult First Aid/CPR/AED

Incorporating the latest science, this course teaches students to recognize and respond to burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head/neck/back injuries, and heat/cold emergencies for victims of any age.

Bloodborne Pathogens

Designed for individuals at risk of on-the-job exposure to blood or bodily fluids.

Topics Covered: How pathogens spread, how to avoid exposure, and proper response to exposure
OSHA Requirement: Meets OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standards
Certification: Valid for 1 year
Employer Policy: Students should review workplace-specific policies after completing this course
